What does it look like?

WALTER offers several options for the proper disposal of your used electronics, like convenient pickup at your business, easy drop-off at our facility, e-waste collection events, collection boxes at your organization, and other e-waste related projects.

How does it work?

All data bearing equipment is wiped and then processed at our Brooklyn facility. We only work with R2 certified downstream partners, ensuring all electronics are handled in an environmentally sound manner

How can I keep track of what's been recycled?

Once your items have been processed, you will receive a comprehensive report detailing the items that were received and recycled. You are always welcome to visit our facility – we love giving tours!

Data security and other services

We ensure your company’s data is safe by offering end-to-end chain of custody during transportation, and a variety of data destruction options.

Data Wiping: Our software erases all data on your storage devices in compliance with DoD 5220.22M and more than 20 other international data sanitizing standards.

Physical Destruction: We can destroy your items either onsite at your workplace or at our facility.

We provide serialized certificates upon request.

At WALTER, we strive to have the best environmental impact possible. That’s why we repair and reuse everything we can. If an item is in too poor condition to reuse, we will use its component parts. If that's not an option either, we dismantle, sort, and recycle for scrap - never landfill.
